LOVE... TO THE EDGE OF DOOM -- A NEW PLAY

I just completed a full length version of a play based on Shakespeare's sonnets, with the working title, "Love... To The Edge Of Doom..."

An older man, in love and in a stable relationship with a younger woman, has an affair with a torrid and sensual model, and then tries to return to his true love.

The play uses a re-arrangement and selection of the sonnets, each spoken in full as dialogue by one of the three characters. There are also period songs, instrumental music and dance. The action -- including all the words and all the music -- are set in a timeless, essentially modern world. It is a modern, classical musical tragi-comedy.

I did a one-act, half-hour version of this play a few years ago off-off-Broadway. This new version is now ready for a full-length production.
